Today I installed the Allpro bumper I won at the Summit!

Blue powdercoating sold separately.

This is a little exhaust mod I came up with to keep from backing my stock exhaust up into the floorpan as I have seen on several rigs. It is crude, but it works.

Great thread. I really like sonic. Love the exhaust mod. On a side note, i have been doing some modding myself..... I put jumper cables in the elantra. LOL

Sunday I decided to install my collection of new Allpro goodies (The rear shocks are back from Walker Evans
where they were completely rebuilt and new top studs were installed).
http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...s/100_0604.jpg

The rear shocks went in nicely. I used some bailing wire to hold them in the compressed state, and cut the wire
when I wanted them back to full length. The new hardware supplied was much better than the original stock.

I had given my original Allpro transfer case skid a thorough working over, and with the new design being stronger
(it appears to have twice the metal on the mounting plate and crossover), I opted to get the newer one.
Installation was the same as the first one, and I feel like this one should hold up to even more abuse!

I also installed the FJoel Highlift mounts on the roofrack mounting location. Tibaal was kind enough to give me
these after he realised he would likely be running a roof rack for life.

All in all it was a good day. I got my plush adjustable ride back, and got rid of the exhaust rubbing noise I was
getting since I had crushed my first transfer / crossover skidplate. I will be touching up the highlift from my FJ40
and giving it a new home soon.
