Sorry for the delayed response Ren. I spent last Thursday and Friday out on the water and then have worked the last 5 days in a row. So, the little things got put on the back burner. Anyway, yes it does seem to work when positioned by the headliner near the windshield. I was a little worried that my front tint strip would affect reception but it doesn't seem to be that big of a deal at all. When holding the GPS in that area, I can pick up 6-8 satellites all with medium to high signal strength.

I do appreciate your help with this issue and I think you can definately proceed with what you had in mind. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

P.S., I hope you're not letting Garth help with the design.
